God’s Love Letter to You

It’s 6:38 p.m. on Monday night and you’re still at work. The pressure has you worn slick. You’ve logged more hours completing the current project than you’re actually paid for. You’re missing your daughter’s dance watch week and while it’s not her official performance, the mom guilt has settled in because the good moms are there.
You didn’t prepare a meal in the crockpot because the weekend was too busy attending the kids’ activities, and you didn’t go to the grocery store. Another trip to the Chick-Fil-A drive-through ignited your shame talk in full swing. The day feels long and your body is exhausted. You’re struggling to get caught up, and you quickly downplay thoughts of taking a hot bath – “stop, you don’t have time for that.” You crash into bed feeling weary knowing that when you open your eyes tomorrow morning, it starts all over again.
Throughout the hustle of life, your soul is crying out for comfort and love. You want and need that from your intimate relationships. Still, there’s a longing in your life for a deep connection with your Creator. There is no substitute for His expressions of love.
He presents His love letter every day through His creative nature designs. He creates a symphony of love letters when the bird’s chirp in the morning or the rain pats your rooftop during a thunderstorm. He writes love letters to your soul when he paints the sky with vivid pinks, oranges, and purples as the sun sets. His love letters shine when the sun warms your skin and the breeze blows your hair.
Even after all of that creativity, He still wrote a love letter through the inspired written word of God, The Bible.
Soaking in God’s love is more than simply reading the words on the pages of your Bible. It’s about intimately knowing Him as your father who cares, nurtures, and sustains your weary heart. God is your resting place, your reassurance, your knight in shining armor. When you feel the pressure is too heavy and the anxiety too much to simply breathe through, find ease in His written love letters to you.
We made it easy for you to find specific verses that highlight His faithful love for you. Meditate on these verses to renew your strength.

God Sacrificed His Son for You
His love is so deep that He gave His Son as a sacrifice to atone for our sins.

God Is Love

Nothing Can Separate You From God’s Love
Romans 8:35-39: “Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, nor our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Because God Loves You He Gives You the Gift of the Holy Spirit

He forgives countlessly. He shows mercy from generation to generation. He keeps His promises and covenants. He calms fears and drives out demons. He creates the sunrise and tells the moon to shine at night. He heals your wounds and soothes your confusion. Many reject Him. Some spit in His face and mock His existence, still He loves. He is the author of love itself.
There is peace in trusting Him. There is no greater lover. Jesus is the ultimate love letter, in action. Let Him in to restore your soul.
