Mendy Shriver is a professional counselor, speaker, and author of the Healthy Habits Bible study + 90 Day 90 Journal. Mendy is a former fitness instructor passionate about helping women develop Christ-centered healthy habits and find freedom from striving, trauma, and body shaming.
Mendy has been married to her high school sweetheart for 24 years. Together they have three biological boys, two adopted daughters, and a beautiful granddaughter.
After first serving in the mental health field for five years, Mendy shifted to a career in wellness for fourteen years. Her time working with women’s fitness allowed her to understand the impact trauma, stress, anxiety, and depression can have on feeling stuck and overwhelmed striving for life’s goals and aspirations.
Mendy graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a degree in Family Psychology and a minor in Religious Studies. She has a Master’s of Arts in Counseling from MidAmerica Nazarene University, a CACREP Accredited Master’s Program. Mendy is a member of the Chi Sigma Iota, Counseling Academic & Professional Honors Society. She is a certified John Maxwell Coach and cycling instructor
